Synthesis of Nanon CuO powder

Micro-particles CuO is prepared by a new method which involves homogeneous precipitation in high intensity ultrasonic field, using Cu(NO3)2 and NaOH as the starting materials and pure water as the solvent. The CuO nano-particles are characterized by using techniques such as X-ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and differential thermal scan analysis, tested by separator-size analyzer. The CuO particles with an average size of 55 nm have been successfully prepared. The as-prepared CuO nano-particles have regular shape, narrow size distribution and high purity. In this experiment, the mechanism and effects of conditions of treatment on process of ultrasonic field final products are discussed. Also discussed the pH values、consistency of reactant、 surface-active reagent、the time and the temperature on the influence of particles size. How to preserve the Micro-particles is the significance. On this thesis, the author used some different surface-active reagent and find the PAG-6000 has a great influence on the nano-particles dispersed. In the condition, there had not been seen any sedimentation phenomenon in 20 days.
