Study on Structure and Luminescence properties of YVO4:Eu3+ nanoparticles
YVO4:Eu3+ nanoparticles were prepared by sol-gel method. The structure, morphology and luminescence properties of YVO4:Eu3+ nanoparticles were studied by XRD,SEM and luminescence spectrum. The results of XRD and SEM indicated that all of the samples were YVO4 tetragonal phase, the particle sizes of the samples were distributed in the range of 28-35 nm. The size and the diffraction intensities of YVO4:Eu3+ nanoparticles were related to synthesis temperatures. The results of excitation spectra and emission spectra showed that the intensities of emission peaks coming from 5D0-7FJ and excitation bands increased with annealing temperature increased. The broad excitation bands belonged to change transfer band of Eu-O and V-O. The Eu3+ ions could produce emission due to be effect excited to 5DJ to emit by Eu3+ and VO4 3- energy transfer.
