Study of transparent UV shield nano-coatings

Nanosized iron oxide was paid close attention as its transparence, bright-colored coloration, UV shield and so on characters. The UV shield function of different kinds of iron oxide was studied when aqueous polyurethane modified with acrylic resin (PUA) was used as film-forming agent and nanosized iron oxide was used as pigment. It can be found that the coatings with iron oxide slurry NJ-808WS provided the best UV shield and sufficient transparency. Then the nanosized iron oxide slurry was dispersed, we can find that when the size of nanosized iron oxide became smaller, the coatings character of UV shield became better. And we can use it to get good iron oxide UV shield nano-coatings.
