Heat transfer enhancement using TiO2 nanofluids for a cooling stave
With the development of Nano-materials, the applications of nano-technology have been more and more regarded by researchers. As one new kind of cooling material, a lot of works have been done in the past decades. This paper focuses on the heat transfer enhancement of nanofluids while it is flowing through a cooling stave. The experiment tests the Nu number in the different concentration and Re number. The results show that the heat transfer coefficient improved while the nanoparticles were added into the fluid. The heat transfer coefficient enhancement would increase with the increase of concentration and Re number.
