The Synthesize and Tribological Properties of WS2 Nanoparticles
Inorganic fullerene-like (hollow onionlike) nanoparticles (IF) and nanotubes have attracted considerable interest in recent years, due to their unusual crystallographic morphology and their interesting physical properties . The reported WS2 nanoparticles were synthesized by the reaction of the precursor of tungsten-oxide nanoparticles and sulful powder in a hydrogen atmosphere.The reaction was accomplished in the self-preparation equipment. In the whole reaction,we used hydrogen gas as reductive instead of H2S. There was no pollution in this experiment.The synthesis route was simple and high-purity. The structure and morphology of the products were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD)、 scanning electronic microscope (SEM)、transmission electronic microscope (TEM) and high resolution transmission electronic microscope(HRTEM).The reported nanoparticles were found to be a like-spherical shape and a closed hollow cage structure with an average size of less than 100nm.The tribological performance was investigeted by MS-T3000- Instrument . It was revealed that the IF-WS2 nanaoparticles have excellent tribological performance as an additive to solid lubricate oil.
