Study on Nano- Palygorskite PF Reinforced Complex Materials

Nano-palygorskite complex material was prepared by in -situ of polymerization.TEM showed that nano-palygorskite powder in the complex materials dispersed evenly .Its IR characteristic shown::it is ether linkage in PF resins and intrinsic infrared absorption peak of methylol with wave numbers around 1085cm-1 and 1045cm-1 respectively. While wave numbers are at 1191cm-1,1121cm-1, 1094cm-1 and 987cm-1 respectively,It is infrared absorption peak of different Si-O bond in special construction of palygorskite. TG/DSC curve indicates that it possesses good thermostability,and outstrips obviously common PF resins.
