Fining of Polyphenylene Sulfide Using Airflow-Smash Method
Polyphenylene sulfide(PPS) was fined by airflow smash method, the stuff and fined particles size and shape were characterized by laser sizer instrument, optics microscope and scan electric microscopy(SEM). The result shown that the fined particles size is smaller, the size distribute becomes narrower , shape is regulated and surface is smoother with the grader rotate speed increases when other experiment conditions are fixed, these changes are in favor of PPS machining and molding.
