Preparation and Characteristics of the Composite Magnetic Chitosan Microspheres used as carrier of targeted-drug
Firstly, the magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles were prepared by chemical co-precipitation with FeCl3·6H2O and FeCl2·4H2O as reactants, NH4OH as precipitation reagent. Composite magnetic chitosan microspheres were prepared with a emulsification crosslinking technique by adding proper amount of glutaraldehyde into chitosan solution containing dispersed Fe3O4 nanoparticles. The average particle size of prepared composite magnetic microsphere was about 10μm , due to the spherical, dispersive, magnetic-responsive and biodegradable characteristic, the composite magnetic chitosan microsphere can be used as functional material or carrier for targeted delivery of drugs.
