Preparation of SiO2 model catalyst and its application in research of diffusion coefficient of residue
Spherical Model catalysts of 4 mm were prepared by firstly ordered packing of monodisperse 200~500nm silica spheres, which were prepared through hydrolysis and condensation of alkoxysilanes, and then calcining at 800 . Then micropores of the monodisperse silica spheres were vanished and the mechanical strength ℃ was increased during the calcining process. Owing to the uniform size of the silica spheres, the prepared model catalysts had uniform interstitial pores, which can be tuned by change the diameter of the monodisperse silica particles. Using the model catalyst prepared by 300nm silica particles, the diffusion coefficient of a fraction of Dagang residue was determined and founded to be 7.54×10-10 m2/s.
