Plug and Switch System application in Substation
For the current conventional AIS (Air Insulated Substation equipment) and GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) equipments, the main problems in the installation, test, operation and expansion are analyzed. The technical indicators of PASS（Plug And Switch System）and GIS equipments are also compared. The problem is discussed with short period of the electricity construction projects, the bad installation conditions, and the difficulty of controlling the quality of the installation works. For the equipment failures on the power systems impact, it is suggested to use the PASS equipment in newly built or expended substation.
