An Integrated Measuring Device For the Field Terminals and kWh Meters in the Distribution Network
This dissertation demonstrates the research and design of a new integrated measuring device for the improvement of the terminal measurement in the distribution network. The device can measure the terminal reading functions through collecting data from multiple terminals simultaneously and comparing them with a simulation meter. Utilizing the modern communication technology, it integrates all the measuring features for the instruments including the distribution transformer terminal, networked kWh meters, commercial customer terminals, and multi-function kWhs meters. The power source of the device is armed with the digital PWM technology, which reduces the weight and size of the device but increases the efficiency.
