Application of Ultra violet Detection in Chinas power system
By 2020, 1000KV ultra high voltage power transmission system will become the main part of Chinas power grid system. A new technology system with a combination of ultra violet imaging, infrared imaging and helicopter will be an excellent monitor instrument for power transmission system surveillance. In China, ultra violet imaging is a new technology being adopted in recent years. In this paper, we will present our work on simulation of abnormal electrical corona, UV detection of contaminated insulator, and showed good application of UV detection.
