Towards the requests to power system, this paper mentions the necessity of extending the use of Energy Storage (ES). By gathering up the characteristics of Vanadium Redox flow Battery (VRB) simply, analyzing its using category and developing potential in Power system, the paper concludes the application modes of VRB and indicates the feasible researches recently.
