Damage Diagnosis of Truss Structures Based on Changes in Frequency
A damage detection method of truss structures based on the changes of frequency presented. The method requires pre-damage mode shapes, pre-damage frequency measurements, and post-damage frequency measurements. The fractional scalar ci can be obtained by the Moore-Penrose pseudo-inverse or the NNLS (Nonnegative Least Squares) algorithm. Numerical results show that the method can localize and quantify the damage in truss structures precisely.
