The Design and Implementation of an ATS Software System Based on Object Oriented Test Interface

To implement the transportability of test program in ATS, a set of OO models are built such as UUT object, test process object, test method object, stimulation process object and signal object. Based on those OO models, the test software interfaces are used to describe the test requirement and are not involved in any instrument control. According to test requirement information the managing module of software runtime system will choose correct signal channel and test resource to perform a test process. This is one of the key techniques to make TPS transportable for general purpose ATS.
