Cross-Testing Research of Embedded Real-Time Software
Many embedded systems required hard or soft real-time execution. To ensure the requirements were met, it was necessary to measure the execution time of individual tasks for establish the overall real-time performance of the system. The paper presented cross-testing method, the method provided convenient means for Target testing, and the testing process for Target could be completed in Host based on NFS. The paper described whole process of cross-testing, Main content included: configuration of cross-developing environment, NFS (net file system) configuration in Host and Target, network configuration in Host and Target, method of measuring time .Finally, gave measuring result.
