Applying Newton iterative method to create testing data

摘要：

The problem of test data generating is reduced to the problem of solving the nonlinear inequations. The idea of program slices is adopted in this paper. The dependency relationship between non-input variables and input variables are confirmed by analyzing static flow and dynamic flow. The non-input variable are represented by input variable based on the dependency relationship, then the nonlinear inequations of new predication about input variables are build, in the end, test data generating problem is solved by applying Newton method. In this paper, we take a program for example, test data are generated by applying the method proposed above. It is proved that this method can generate test data effectively
