Error Analysis and Calibration of Current Measurement
This paper is resulted from an implementation of an instrument for test and measurement of a complex control system. It focuses on the current measurement scheme, error analysis and calibration method. Based on the typical examples, it gives the detailed error calculation, analyses the various factors affecting measurement uncertainty, it points out that the scaling resistor errors are the primary causes to the measurement error, and gives a very simple but effective calibration method, it presents the experimental results. It concludes that the measurement scheme and calibration method are acceptable, the instrument satisfies the specifications of the current measurement.
