The Test for Anti-fouling Performance of Polyvinylidene Fluoride Membrane after Modification

In wastewater treatment, membrane separation technology shows many advantages over traditional methods; but the technology produces membrane fouling, which restricts the technology from further application. Many studies indicate that hydrophilicity may effectively mitigate membrane fouling. In this paper, the anti-fouling performance of porous polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane after chemical cross-linking modification is studied. The research proves that, after modification, Membrane Fouling Index (MFI) has been diminished significantly.
