The research of the method in measuring and deciding the central line of each deck during the manufacture process of the special ship
The central line of each deck is very crucial in some special ship, because it is the benchmark to install the special system. If this system need to obtain high accuracy, the same benchmark should be thought about at first during the installation process of its devices. But the methods of deciding the central line are fairly complex , it may cost lots of time to deal with this job during the fabrication process of the ship. Then, a efficient method to decide the central line of the every deck has been presented in this paper, it may be helpful to the persons working at this job. The method mentioned in the paper is to decide the central lines quickly and accurately with the help of gyro-theodolite and other conventional tools or some experiential arithmetic. It has been applied successfully in many shipyards of China.
