Research on Test and Mechanisms of Gun Tire Heating
Most of the pull-type gun in service has the solid sponge core tire. During marching, it will be heat and make the sponge core ablation, so accident will be caused. It limits the improvement of maneuverability and battle effectiveness of the troops. In this paper, the mechanisms of tire temperature rise are studied firstly. Then, on basis of the experimental data, the dynamic temperature rise laws of solid tire are analyzed. At last, Technique and approach of improving the performance of solid tire are put forward to solve the problems in gun tire technique guarantee.
