Study on models of gyroscope-free strap-down inertial navigation system
The angular velocity was computed using accelerometers instead of angular velocity gyroscopes in gyroscope-free strap-down inertial navigation system (GFSINS). The angular-velocity increment algorithm for the attitude updating of gyroscope-free strap-down inertial navigation system is derived and the navigation frame of strap-down inertial navigation system is the geographic frame. A new angular velocity algorithm are presented by means of the direction cosine matrix and quaternion. Based on the mathematical model, the simulation and experiment on action of three- axis turntable are studied. The results are given to prove the corrections of analysis and calculation and provide reference for further study.
