The Performance Measurement about Gun-propellant and primary explosives containing Polynitropolyphenylene
In this paper, the application about Polynitropolyphenylene (PNP) as low vulnerability composition in propellant and primary explosives was be discussed. The result show: PNP can improve whole heat-resistant performances of gun propellants and primary explosives. When PNP mix with elastic polymer, PNP have no effect to impact sensitivity. PNP is a kind energetic material, it can make the detonation velocity of explosive increase.
