Research on the Application of Electro-magnetic Ultrasonic in Pressure Vessels Thickness Measurement
The paper introduces the basic principle of the electro-magnetic ultrasonic. Moreover, researches on the application of this technology in pressure vessels thickness measurement. And it also discusses the application, the feasibility and the primary theory of nondestructive thickness measurement. The technology bases on eddy current and magnetic field. It has many advantages such as dispense with couplant, untouched, good repetition and high speed and so on. The measure systems structure had been designed, and the experimental data indicates the measurements precision is high enough for application.
