The measurement of solid parameters of large diameter and deep shafts based on ultrasonic

Shaft sinking of drilling method is an advanced silo construction technology, which has been widely used in mine shafts constructing and groundwork wells drilling. At present, the silos depth and diameter are larger and larger. All these are much stricter to the shaft-measuring instrument than ever. In this article, a new type ultrasonic shaft-measuring instrument which can work well in large diameter and deep shafts is designed. It has four ultrasonic transducers and can measures the radius of four directions in one time. PC will process the data on or off line and draw the structure graphs and calculate the silo solid parameters. Its performance is much better than the similar measurement instruments at home and abroad such as Japan and Russia, and furthermore the long period of application in many fields shows that it works perfectly, reliably and quickly, and on the other hand, its friendly interface, being operated easily, the vivid and clear display of data and graphs, all these are ready to accepted by the users
