Design of the Method to Measure Acceleration and Velocity
This paper introduces an instrument which makes use of a new type of sensor ADXL202 to measure acceleration and velocity .The chip processor is AT89C52, which is belongs to ATMEL company. This system can communicates with PC by serial to exchange data. The acceleration and velocity can be displayed by LCD. The acceleration will be measured by ADXL202, and a new method to calculate velocity according to the acceleration is put forward, which is called rectangular integral method. This method can satisfy this system very well. This instrument manages to measure and display acceleration and velocity from -1g to +1g.The precision can be less than 8*10 3 . G. In this paper, it provides total design, hardware design which concludes key circuitry, software design which concludes rectangular integral method and software flow chart and conclusions.
