Research on Pulsed Current Measurement in Coilgun Based on Rogowski Coil
The relationships between electric parameters and structure parameters of Rogowski coil with round section are investigated based on its structure and measurement principle. The computation method for the optimum terminal resistance of Rogowski coil is given out, which involves in self-inductance, resistance and distributed capacitance vs. ground of Rogowski coil. Self-integral working mode of Rogowski coil is adopted for the pulsed current measurement during coilguns operation. Measurement results show that the measurement method based on Rogowski coil for discharging pulsed current in coilgun is feasible and can meet measurement requirements.
