Image Integration Based on Affine Alteration

In the processing of digital video and geographic information, and in the analysis of medical images, image integration is often needed to achieve panoramic, multangular visual effects. Two essential technologies in image integration are image mosaic and image inosculation. The present paper proposes the mosaic arithmetic method for affine alteration based on least square method. The method contributes to better attainment of image integration of pieces with varied sizes, rotation and parallel displacement. Bilinear interpolation method is also employed in the mosaic process to optimize the value determination of tincture points. The result of the optimization is reflected by enhanced mosaic accuracy, image quality and eradication of pixel value discontinuity. Image integration via weighted arithmetic method after mosaicking is preferable for it can, as substantiated by experimental results, clear up rift and blur in between the initial image pieces.
