Image Fusion Method Based on Principal Direction Frequency Band of Wavelet Transform

摘要：

Image fusion method based on wavelet transform is a very efficient method, but all of the methods used at present dont consider the wavelet coefficients relationship between different high frequency at the same scale in each image. Based on this, the concept of principal direction frequency band is presented ，and then a novel image fusion method based on the concept is put forward. the performance comparison of the fusion scheme with the other methods is evaluated and analyzed. the experimental results show that the fusion scheme has the best effective.
