A Threshold Calculation Method During Ferrography Image Processing

摘要：

Ferrography has a vast advantage on wear fault diagnosis of machine which is especially used to diagnose low speed and to-and-fro machines which work in worse conditions. During the image process of ferrography image, the calculation of threshold is so important that it will influence the following process of image processing. Because the ferrography image has a changeable background, the threshold will be calculated difficulty. Therefore, this paper applies Ostu thresholding method to ascertain the threshold of ferrography image. Then this model will be applied to ferrography image processing and the results prove that this model can give an exact and proper threshold of ferrography image and is applicable and available in practice.
