Wigner-Ville Distribution and Its Application in Identification of FMCW
This paper introduced Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW ) and Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD ), studied the classification of FMCW with WVD, simulated signal only, SNR=3dB,0dB using WVD, PWVD, SPWVD, RSPWVD respectively, and studied their comparisons. The result indicated that WVD has little capability restraining noise, and has more cross-term. When the ratio of signal-to-noise is small, it can hardly classify FMCW signal. Although PWVD and SPWVD can reduce cross terms, its frequency-resolution is decreased. The RSPWVD is better in all respects.
