Expanded Local Border Search Algorithm and Its Application

摘要：

Although Local Border Search Algorithm is faster and more advantageous in search speed and accuracy of border than traditional algorithms, it is still short in some aspects, for example it is strongly dependent on prior knowledge and sensitive to initial search point, so that it can not be in general use in other fields except for searching borders. In order to expand use scope of Local Border Search Algorithm, the Expanded Local Border Search Algorithm is put forward and applied in defect detection and double laser character lines extraction. Experiment result shows that it is effective and accurate, and fit for real-time occasions.
