The study of image coding process based on DSP and transmission

Based on some analysis of the digital supervision and video communication in some literatures, this paper puts forward an image compression method by Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) based on Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and designs a radio communication system. This method adopts Embedded Zerotree Wavelet combined with both orthogonal vector wavelet radix transform, which can be considered as an improved method of EZW. This paper utilizes the instruction and structure characteristics of DSP to resolve coefficient matrix, and utilizes shift operation instead of add and multiplication to analyze the coefficient. Then it can make the image data be compressed efficiently. In the experiment, it also designs wireless transmission and receiving module and the interface between this module and DM642. By this design, image information transmitted by wireless comes true.
