Researches on Estimating Surface Reflection Properties from Images

摘要：

Machine vision technologies aim at simulating human eyes functions by using cameras and computers, and have been widely researched and applied in robot and other fields. Object recognition is one of the most important research items, in which shape information and reflection properties are important characteristics which are usually employed. The purpose of this study is to develop a method for estimating surface reflection properties of an object surface from images taken by camera from different view points.
