The Application of Cepstral Analysis in the Faults Diagnosis of the Rolling Bearing
This paper introduces the cepstrum and its characteristic. The cepstrum can simplify original power spectrum into single spectral lines of frequency band of group ，which may distinguish the period structure on the complex picture of frequency spectra ， split the period composition from dense frequency signa1 ．So it has been already widely used in the mechanical fault diagnosis and the noise analsis and so on. The application in the rolling bearing faults diagnosis indicates that the cepstrum is quick and precise for the identification of the complex signals. The position of the bearing fault in a complex disturbing sign can also be accurately located.
