Research on Near-Field Detection of the Electric Field of Rotorcraft
Rotorcraft will have electric charge and produce electric field around it ,when it flies. we can get some useful information of the object by the detection of electric field around the rotorcraft. Rotorcraft will not be regarded as a point object and electric field will not be an electrostatic field, if detector of electrostatic detector system is close to it, and rotors circumvolve with high frequency. In this paper, electric charge models of rotorcraft are built, and the value of electric field can be emulated and calculated by the Finite Element Analysis method. According to the relative movement of the target and detector, electric intensity on a certain point can be deduced in electric field caused by target. With the reduced-scale model simulation technique, reduced-scale rotorcraft model will be built in the paper, and the electric field of the reduced-scale rotorcraft model can be detected by electrostatic detector system. This electrostatic detector system consists of the electrostatic detector, weak-signal processing circuit, data acquisition system and other modules.
