Fast Image Matching Algorithm based on Character Sequence Look-Up Table

Image matching is one of the most important techniques in product inspection based on machine vision. And the image matching velocity is a key bottle-neck to realize on-line detection of complex product assembling states in engineering. the paper proposes a fast image matching algorithm based on character sequence look_up table which depend on multi-direction projection entropy. Then find the optimum of the image checked. Finally carrying out exactness matching. Aiming at the difficulty in identifying test piece owing to the overlaps of parts projection gray, the paper brings forward one method based rotating the product tested 90 angle and re-matching.
