FLI co-simulation and high speed image processing based on FPGA
Introduces a video image real-time processing system based on FPGA, which is successfully used in real-time dynamic processing and analyzing of steel rail transect image. As the image processing has great data quantity and high operation complexity, so the first problem to be solved during hardware design and software simulation is how to create stimulation of emulator. The FLI(Foreign Language Interface) technology which realizes the interface of hardware description language and C-language becomes the preferential scheme. The experiment proves that the result of co-simulation and C++ software simulation have great consistency. Under the foundation of co-simulation, embeds the core of image processing describe by VHDL into FPGA to actualize the hardware design of image processing system.
