A New Industrial CT Algorithm on Directly Reconstructing he Characteristics of the Objects

In the industrial X-Ray CT detection system, owing to the restrictions of dispersion, the traditional CT methods result in higher noise and lower resolution of the reconstructed image, and cannot be used to detect tiny flaws. Relying on the internal structure of the detected object, and using the trait of wavelet functions before and after RADON transform, the authors put forward a new algorithm which utilities the pre-filtering of the projected data to directly reconstruct the character part of the detected objects. The practical results show that the algorithm can distinguish smaller flaws in the inner of the object, less sacrifice the resolution of the backgruoud image, and effectively improve the resolution of detection.
