Research of the Equivalent Modulus of Gun Service Rounds Based on Simulations and Experiments
The equivalent modulus of gun service rounds is the pivotal parameters that affect the gun tube life. It is a puzzle to calculate the equivalent modulus in the gun life research field. Data that can not be measured by experiment can be calculated by simulation method. Mathematic formula of abrasion speed can be received through the analysis of experimental result. The results that calculated through interior ballistics formula and simulation can be used to calculate the equivalent modulus. High precision in calculation can be demonstrated by the experimental results, so it can be putted into practice.
