Research on CPLD Application in the High Accuracy and Synchronous Data Acquisition System Based on DSP
This paper briefly introduces the designing ideas of the high accuracy and synchronal data acquisition system based on DSP. TMS320VC33, Texas Instruments (TI) Incorpor- ateds 32 bits float digital signal processor, is taken as the operating and processing core of the system. Based on the analysis of the system, we mostly discuss the application of CPLD on systems timing control, logic control, and the character of synchronization on the multichannel and synchronous data acquisition system. The data acquisition system has the excellent characteristic of compact system design, high capability of real-time operation, high accuracy, small volume, low cost, and low power consumption. The system is especially applicable to inertial navigation, inertial measurement, automatic detection and industry control. In these fields, the multichannel synchronous data acquisition and processing system is frequently used.
