Real-time and Multi-channel Parallel Data Acquisition System Based on CPLD
Data acquisition technology is widely used in modern industry and science research. It is the precondition of information processing system. Due to high frequency, fast transportation speed, and real-time parallel sampling requirements, conventional data acquisition methods can not satisfy new demands of modern data acquisition. In this paper we propose a CPLD based multi-channel parallel data acquisition system in which each data acquisition channel consists of a signal recuperates module, an A/D converter and an asynchronous dual-port static RAM. It adopts CPLD as the control core, achieves the goal of complete parallel data acquisition by controlling sampling clock of each A/D converter, transports data using time-sharing method by cycle, assures no breakpoint and parallel process of acquisition, store and transportation. The actual result shows that the system has excellent accuracy and reliability.
