The Study on the Gun Barrel Capability Based on BP Neural Network
The capability of gun barrels influences the trajectory performance, and ultimately affects operational effectiveness. Through analyzing the capability of gun barrels, this article establishes five characters (initial velocity, bore pressure, firing accuracy , radial wear extent and the existence of early burst, blind, short round) that attributed gun barrel capability. The knowledge of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is applied in comprehensive evaluation of naval gun barrel capability, and then the model of comprehensive evaluation is established. The BP arithmetic of batch disposition in descending grads with momentum degrades and the neural network tool kit of MATLAB was used to achieve BP neural network. The correctness of the model has been verified by calculating a certain example of naval gun barrel.
