A New Design Method of Intelligent Controller for Ship Course
Because of the strong non-linearity and uncertainty of ships, and as well the dynamics restraints of autopilots, designing a high performance course controller is yet a challenge work. Aiming at these problems, a new kind of high performance course controller design method was proposed. This method, which is based on fuzzy-neural network, genetic algorithm, reference trajectory setting algorithm and noise-adding algorithm, can markedly improve the controller completeness and robustness. And the simulations of the ship course track control were done in typical ocean environment, and the results showed that the controller designed has good robust stability, fast transition process, and high dynamic and steady control precision. And the effective of the design method proposed was proved enough.
