Engine fault diagnosis expert system based on fuzzy rules

摘要：

An engine fault diagnosis expert system based on multi-sensor data fusion is presented in this paper. The common engine faults are summarized briefly. A typical set of engine fault is built. A method of extracting fault symptoms is given based on information entropy, and a set of fault symptoms is built consequently. A scheme for diagnosing engine fault based on fuzzy rules is presented. An engine fault diagnosis system based on fuzzy rules is designed. The validity of this fault diagnosis system has been proved by an example.
