Audio-visual Sensor Fusion System on Mobile Robot Head Using Neural Network
This paper introduces an audio-visual sensor fusion system, which applies to a mobile robot head in order to help him to point to the direct of the target and to know what is the target. The system is based on neural network with applying Multi-sensor fusion technology. The system can be divided into two subsystems, Sub-1 and Sub-2. Sub-1 is a vision system that composed of a CCD camera and an infrared sensor transducer, and Sub-2 is a hearing system that composed of three microphones. A kind of structure of heterogeneity sensor information data fusion is developed based on neural network.
