Study on the Measuring Method of the Cotton Fiber Moisture Content Based on VI Technology
The moisture content of the cotton fiber is a key parameter about the quality processing the cotton fiber, and it is an important control parameter of the system supervising the cotton fiber quality. The traditional way of resistance measuring the moisture content of the cotton fiber exists operation complicating and not visually showing. In this paper, a kind of measuring method of capacitive reactance is put forward based on virtual instrument (VI) technology and data fusion technology. The system comprises two parts: a small capacitance test circuit of capacitive reactance and VI software platform. Simulating results suggest that: this method can carry out measuring fleetly and accurately with interface designing simply, measuring data visually , using easily and the error less than ±0.03%.
