Study on High-temperature Sintering Processes of Laser Sintered Al2O3/ZrO2/TiC Parts

High-temperature sintering Al2O3/ZrO2/TiC ceramic parts were studied. It is found that high temperature sintering can improve the mechanical properties of laser sintered part. The laser sintering mechanics of Al2O3/ ZrO2/ TiC part was investigated by means of studying the dynamic laser sintering process. With the measurement of sintering parts, the influence mechanics factors on the parts were found. The results show that strength and the fracture ductility of Al2O3/ZrO2/TiC part were enhanced when temperature increased. And long time preservation would reduce the fracture ductility. After vacuum sintering for 2h at 1650 ℃, the bending strength , fracture toughness and relative density of Al2O3/ZrO2/TiC ceramic part reaches 360 MPa, 6.9MPa ·m1/2 and 95% respectively.
