Real-time Prediction and Tracking of a Moving Target Based on a DSP
This paper describes the design and implementation of a real-time TV-Tracking system based on the ADSP-BF561 embedded high-speed DSP processor. A self-adaptive dual-window algorithm is used to locate the target in complex situations. The target location for the subsequent frame can be predicted by using the Tracking Differentiator. Experiments show that the system can extract the target effectively and solve problems arising from difficulties in the tracking environment. The DSP allows the spatial target to be predicted and tracked in a real time.
