An On-line Diagnosis Method of Transformer Hot Fault Based on Infrared Thermal Imaging Technology
An on-line diagnosis method based on infrared thermal imaging technology of transformer hot fault is given. Using real-time thermal imaging of transformer surface, the temperature distribution fields is built. A heat-transfer model was established by some parameters, such as surface temperature, structure parameters, physical characteristics and environmental temperature of transformer. And then the inner hot fault temperature of transformer is calculated through the model. By comparing with DGA diagnosis result, the availability of diagnosis method is proved. And then the on-line and non-contact diagnosis of transformer latent hot fault is realized.
